Accurate prices are the reason this website exists. This page explains where our Dairy Queen prices and nutrition numbers come from, how often we update them and how we correct mistakes.
Where our prices come from
Each Dairy Queen franchise sets its own prices, so the same Blizzard can cost a dollar or more extra in a big city, airport or tourist area than in a small town. To estimate a typical price, we:
- Review menu prices from many U.S. Dairy Queen stores, including store menus published online and in the DQ app.
- Spot-check prices for stores in different regions.
- Use Dairy Queen’s own announcements for nationally advertised prices, such as the $7 Meal Deal.
The price we show is a typical, middle-of-the-range price, not an average of extremes. Where we have it, we also show the range from the lowest to the highest prices we found. Prices are for in-store and app orders; delivery apps usually charge more.
Where our nutrition information comes from
Calories and nutrients are based on Dairy Queen’s published U.S. nutrition information for the standard recipe. Values can change when recipes change, and customizations change the totals. Always check Dairy Queen’s official allergen information if you have a food allergy.
How often we update
We review prices at least monthly and whenever Dairy Queen announces a national promotion, a new Blizzard of the Month or a menu change. Each page shows the date prices were last checked.
Corrections
If you find an error, please tell us through our contact page. We review every report and update pages when the evidence supports a change.
